7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our website and understand how visitors interact with it. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically. Analytics cookies (including PostHog product analytics) are only activated after you have provided explicit consent through our cookie consent banner.

For detailed information about the specific cookies we use, their purpose, and how to manage your preferences, please see our Cookie Policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

9. Third-Party Services

We work with a limited set of carefully selected third-party service providers. Each provider is contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions and in accordance with applicable data protection law. The approved external services are:

  • Stripe— payment processing. Card data is entered directly into Stripe's secure forms and never passes through our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery for order confirmations, shipping notifications, and account-related communications
  • Supabase — cloud database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and order records are stored here, protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data.
  • Sentry — error tracking and application monitoring. Error reports are automatically scrubbed to exclude personally identifiable information before transmission.
  • PostHog — product analytics to help us understand feature usage and improve the service. PostHog is only initialised after you have given explicit cookie consent.

We do not use any third-party services beyond those listed above for processing your personal data.

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

  • SSL/TLS encryption — all data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS protocols
  • Row Level Security (RLS) — database-level security policies ensure that each user can only access their own records, enforced at the database layer independent of application logic
  • PII redaction from logs — our application logging systems are configured to automatically redact personally identifiable information; email addresses, names, and other PII are never written to application logs
  • Payment data isolation — no card numbers or sensitive payment data ever touches our servers; all payment handling is delegated to Stripe
  • Regular security assessments — we conduct periodic reviews of our security practices, access controls, and third-party integrations

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
